Terms of Service

Last updated · 1 July 2026

Welcome to Qareeb. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Qareeb mobile app, website and delivery services. Please read them carefully. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, accessing or using Qareeb, you confirm that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the app. From time to time we may ask you to accept updated Terms, as described below.

2. Accounts and eligibility

To place an order you need a Qareeb account and a valid phone number. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.

  • Keep your account details and password confidential; you are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • Provide accurate, current information, including a correct delivery address and contact number.
  • Tell us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

3. Orders and availability

When you place an order, one of our shoppers buys the items on your behalf from the partner store or restaurant, and a driver delivers them to you.

  • All items, menus and prices are subject to availability and may change without notice.
  • If an item is unavailable, our shopper follows the substitution preference you set — refund the item, contact you to decide, or choose a close alternative. We never substitute silently.
  • We deliver within our published coverage zones and stated hours. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather or demand.
  • You must be reachable and available to receive your order at the address you provided.

4. Pricing, fees and payment

Prices are shown in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and include the item price plus a service and delivery fee, unless stated otherwise. A minimum order value may apply.

  • You can pay by cash on delivery, InstaPay, credit or debit card, or your Qareeb wallet.
  • Card, InstaPay and wallet payments are handled by our licensed payment providers.
  • The final amount may differ slightly from the estimate for items sold by weight or when you approve substitutions.
  • You are responsible for paying the full amount due for every order you place.

5. Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel an order at no charge before our shopper starts buying your items. Once shopping has begun, cancellation may not be possible or may incur a fee for items already purchased.

  • If an item is missing, incorrect or damaged, contact support and we will refund or credit you after reviewing the order.
  • Approved refunds are returned to your Qareeb wallet or original payment method. Timing for card and InstaPay refunds depends on your bank or provider.

6. Wallet and cashback

Your Qareeb wallet lets you store balance, receive refunds and earn cashback on eligible orders.

  • Wallet balance and cashback can be used towards future orders and have no cash value outside the app unless required by law.
  • Cashback and promotional credits may carry conditions, minimum-order requirements or expiry dates, which we will make clear when they are offered.
  • We may adjust or reverse wallet credits granted in error, through fraud, or in breach of a promotion's terms.

7. User conduct

When you use Qareeb, you agree to:

  • Use the service lawfully and only for genuine personal orders.
  • Treat our shoppers, drivers, partners and support staff with respect.
  • Not misuse the app, defraud us, abuse promotions, or place fake or malicious orders.
  • Not attempt to access, disrupt or reverse-engineer any part of our systems.

8. Intellectual property

The Qareeb name, logo, app, website, content and software are owned by Qareeb or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app to order from us. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Qareeb is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we work hard to keep the service reliable and to deliver quality products, we do not guarantee that the app will always be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every item will always be in stock.

To the fullest extent permitted by Egyptian law, Qareeb is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of Qareeb after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute relating to these Terms or to your use of Qareeb is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Egypt.
